FDA Certificate

This standard comprises a series of tests to determine the biocompatibility of a product. Test 5 assesses its cytotoxicity by incubating cells on the product's surface. The results have 5 levels, with 0 representing no toxicity or reactivity affecting cell incubation and 5 representing the highest level of cytotoxicity. Our menstrual cup obtained a result of 0, indicating that it is a biocompatible material and safe for use in the body

ROHS/ EBO:

It is a European legislation that came into effect in 2006, significantly restricting the use of lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (Cr6), among others. This legislation aims to ensure that products marketed are safe and free from hazardous elements. Our menstrual cups have passed this test, meaning they are free from the aforementioned elements

 

 

EBO Certificate

 

The multinational SGS, an expert in certification processes, applied the US FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 test to the menstrual cup. The purpose of this test is to determine the elements released by a product when submerged in different solvents for various durations, in this case, distilled water and hexane, over 7 hours at different temperatures. The result: Approved. Our menstrual cups do not release hazardous elements
